and in nebraska they are beeing very specific, where you can exercise your pet, i wonder why?

Mittwoch; die sonne scheint, noch ist es eisekalt, aber das soll sich aendern sobald wir die nebraskansiche grenze ueberfahren haben. zum glueck und von da an wurde es nur waermer, perfekt fuer einen abstecher zum scotts bluff national monument. das sind auch wieder, wer haette es anders gedacht, na? ja freilich felsformationen im gruenen, wo sich die siedler frueher niederliessen, weil das land zu durchqueren, ohne auto doch anstrengender war als gedacht.
am scotts bluff wanderten wir ne weile herum und fuhren hinauf zur spitze um die volle aussicht zu geniessen, denn es war wirlich ein weitsichtiger klarer tag.
ende der heutigen attappe war ca 400 meilen spaeter ein ort in der neahe von Kearney.
Wednesday
the sun is shining again, it was still freezing cold in the morning, but as soon as we got into nebraska it got nice and warm. perfect for a little detour to scotts bluff national monument, which is, for all of you who dont know, another kind of rockformation in the middle of the flats, where the people in the past first settled, after they had enough of getting cross country without a motorvehicle. we hiked around a little bit and drove up to the top which really had a nice view, of the wide open emtyness of the country and some more rocks. a lot of rockstars come from here, I bet. 400 miles later we stopped somewhere around Kearney still in nebraska.
